MY GREAT GRANDFATHER, DAVID WYNNE OF RHES Y CAE WAS AN APPRENTICE TO EDWARD CARTWRIGHT FROM 1890-1895. PICTURED ARE PART OF HIS INDENTURE WHICH I HAVE AND A PICTURE OF IN HIM IN A SMITHY POSSIBLY IN NANNERCH.

I wonder if Marjorie Blake or someone local knows of an ancester of mine called Elisabeth Scottow. She was born in 1758 and died aged 78 on 3 April 1826. She married a John Farrow on December 24 1772 and John and Elisabeth are buried at North Erpingham.

EARLIER THIS YEAR WE HAD THE GREAT PLEASURE OF SPEAKING TO THE PRESENT OWNERS OF THE COTTAGE.
